GEAR CLUTCH STUCK ON MY MB 2005 S430
Hi I would like to know if any here every had there gear stick jam on thier S-CLASS? my gear stick is stuck on park & will not move to Reverse, or drive. If this happenened to you what was the problem & what did you do?

Ok now I found out that it's my shift control module that's bad & burnt out the macanic said for the part alone will be $565. is there a site where I can purchase one or place I can go to get the part for cheap?

it could be the lockout switch on the brake,,,,the brake pedal is depressed and a switch allows the stick to move from park to other choice,,,,,there is also a small hole with a flap somewhere near your shift assembly or actually on it,,, you can use a ball point pen to manually unlock the stick from the park position.
