I owned a 1998 C230 MB and for almost a year now the "check engine" warning on the front panel had been lit. The car is running fine. I have brought the car to the dealer and to another repair shop several times but unable to identify the cause of it. Would you have any suggestion or recommendation?

Thanks.

Hi, try having that Air Mass Sensor check that's one of the common problem with the C-230. And to replace it, it's so easy you just need a flat screw driver or no.8 socket wrench. Here's the Auto Parts that sells them cheaper than the dealer. ETYparts.com and BMAparts.com. But I strongly suggests that you have it check first.
